1. Our commitment
Gyros City Wholesalers wants as many people as possible to be able to use this website and our app. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we work to meet our duties under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments.
2. Settings you can change
Both the website and the app have accessibility settings you can switch on yourself: larger text, higher contrast, more spacing, a reading-friendly font, underlined links, a stronger focus outline, and reduced motion. They are off by default, apart from settings your device already asks for (such as reduced motion or larger text), which we follow automatically. Use the accessibility settings button that appears on every page of the website, or Account then Accessibility in the app.
The website works with a keyboard alone and with screen readers, and the app supports the screen reader and text-size settings built into your phone.
3. How accessible are we?
Status: partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We are testing with automated tools and manual checks, and we plan a full manual review with screen readers and keyboard-only use before launch. We will update this statement when it is done.
- Documents we generate automatically, such as invoices, quotes and delivery notes, are PDFs that may not work fully with every screen reader. We can send them in another format on request.
- Some supplier product photos do not yet have detailed descriptions.
- Maps and links that open third-party websites follow the accessibility of those sites.
- The staff area is for our team only; we test it too, but it is not part of this public statement.
Known limitations we are working on:
