Strictly necessary items and the settings you choose yourself do not need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). That is why you are not shown a cookie banner.
2. What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No analytics or visitor-tracking cookies or scripts.
- No social-media tracking pixels or embedded third-party widgets that set cookies.
Our servers keep basic request logs (such as IP address) for security. That is covered in our Privacy notice.
3. In our app
The app stores your sign-in token in your phone's secure storage, and keeps your favourites, accessibility settings, a copy of the catalogue and any enquiry waiting to send in the app's own storage on your phone. It uses no advertising identifiers and no tracking software. If you allow notifications, a push token identifies your phone so we can send them. Deleting the app or signing out removes this.
4. Your choices
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings; the site still works, but your enquiry list will not be remembered, and staff and trade account sign-in will not work.
You can reset your accessibility settings at any time from the accessibility settings button. See Cookie settings for the current position.
5. Changes
If we ever add analytics or any other optional storage, we will ask for your consent first, show you a banner with Accept and Reject as equally easy choices, and update this page before it starts.
